Father, Professor, Scholar, Environmentalist, and Outdoor Enthusiast – Dr. Kavous Seyed Emami left this world too soon, and in a manner that left many of us left behind with a cry of agony in our hearts.
He served his country for 30 years by volunteering for the Iran-Iraq war, teaching at Imam Sadiq University, and protecting the environment and wildlife – especially the Asiatic Cheetah – through the Persian Wildlife Heritage Foundation which he helped establish.
Through countless camping trips, he inspired several generations to navigate and appreciate our beautiful country which he loved and cherished with all his heart.
He made us believe that we can achieve anything we set our hearts and mind to. He made us collectively hope, before his death, and even today, despite his unexpected and unforeseeable passing.
He may have left his body, but his soul radiates through every tree, every field, and every animal in our lands. He continues to inspire us, even today.
This website is to help keep his legacy and love for life alive. He would want us to dance in celebration of his life, not lose faith or allow fear to enter our hearts.
Love always prevails, even if our rational mind cannot make sense of it in the short run. Everyone knows, and everyone will know, sooner or later.
